Could use some help! (Adsense websites)
  • Any one know a good ebook with the basic fundamentals of adsense websites (how to build, research, etc).

I got stuck with a ton of adsense sites with no manager anymore. Need to brush-up on knowledge.

    Thanks,
    Trinity

  • Sure. This course is pretty good. http://adsensemasterscourse.com/ Not sure if you have heard people throw around the term "xfactor site", but this course is from a guy from the warrior forum with the name xfactor and that's where the term came from. The exerciseballchair.org site that I sold was an "xfactor site" and based from what I learned in his course.

He goes into how he promotes his sites, but I'd say just do what you normally do to promote them because I don't like his way, but his course will show you how to research and find keywords and also how high converting adsense sites look.

He uses xsitepro to build his sites, which I bought and used to build the exercise ball chair site... but now I only use wordpress and thats what I suggest. Here is the wordpress theme (its actually 12 themes in 1) that I use for all of my adsense sites. http://clickbump.com/ce/ The guy (clickbump) modeled the themes based on "xfactor sites".
  • Thanks a lot, Brent. I appreciate all the information.

  • No problem Trinity, and good luck!
  • I would suggest a couple more, The Fat Cat BluePrint:
    http://www.fatcatblueprint.com/?hop=0
and hotboys ebook on his BHW "Follow Me As I..."
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-s ... sites.html

FCB I feel is more comprehensive than the Xfactor course. I also think that John's (XFactor) ideas of only backlinking from Ezine articles is outdated.
Further I recommend something that Brent recommended to me "BackLinks Hydra" by Terry Kyle. Terry makes a good case for eschewing EZA and has some great ideas about SEO post May Day changes in Goog.
  • Yeah. The mayday update! and Google caffeine update seems to have affected most of the MFA ( Made for Adsense ) sites which these courses teach you. So you would need to tweak them a lot to survive google SERPs.Make sure you take the necessary steps before you start building MFA sites.

P.S : Don't ask me what changes to make in them. Because i don't know. I only know that those sites have dropped a lot on traffic( Which results in revenue).Any SEO expert here who knows a way around??

None of my mfa sites based on xfactor sites have suffered any. Yours have?
  • Well the network that I have is 200+ sites and none of them have been effected from Google's update. So I think I"m in the clear. Thanks everyone for their input. I've purchased a few of the products already and I'm getting up to speed.

    Thanks,

  • What do you mean by "i have 200+ sites" Trin. Are they micro niche sites? Most of the product sites, the ones which have product descriptions are hit. Do you have any product sites which are still doing good?

@Brent My products related micro niches that i built from amazon are the ones which are hit. Rest are doing well. Do you have any of those product sites still sitting in #1?
  • I have 200 sites that are 1 - 5 pages (micro niche) that are either products or general information related to product. Most of them are sitting in positions 1 - 3 on Google. None of them have been effected as far as I can tell. The entire network is steadily raising in traffic and revenue.

  • Way to go. Let me know the results once you have implemented adsense and start making money :)
  • I've owned this network for over 3 years. . . So adsense has already been on there I just wasn't running it. It was passive income.

  • None of my sites have been hit. I only use unique content.. I don't use product descriptions.
  • I was refering to this post http://www.toprankblog.com/2010/06/goog ... -ohye-ses/[hr]
Uhh...Please take some time to read it fully.
  • I suspect this is the beginning of my predicted demise of the autoblog, NOT MFA sites. I still have a one page site at #2 but ti's original content.
