• Again in your ebook you mention the dangers of high traffic originating from "Referring Sites". Importantly, you advise that we should check these sites to determine the quality of the sites. What features make a good as opposed to a bad quality link, and how do you know where those links are (are they found on Google Analytics)?

    Thanks

  • Google analytics will show you who they referring sites are.

Quality referred traffic would be from a site that the seller has no ownership or association with and will continue to refer traffic to you 6 months or more after you buy the site. You want to be on the lookout for referring sites that are in no way related to the site that is selling. This would indicate the traffic coming from those sites could be fake or poor quality.

In general, just use your gut instinct. If something seems "off", research it more or just walk away.
