  • That isn't a wordpress theme its just a basic XHTML/CSS template. So do you need adsense themes are regular XHTML/CSS templates.

    Trinity
  • ahhh ok i thought it was a basic 2 column wp theme.. Im happy with something just like that. I guess i can just rip it as it's that basic..

    Thanks Trin
  • Check out the source code. Looks very simple to me. I'd imagine that's a custom template optimised for CTR. Saves on bandwidth if you have a ton of sites to keep it simple.
  • yeah sure is simple but looks very effective for some adsense stuff im planning.
  • If you need good adsense wordpress themes here:

    Trinity
  • Yeah i saw those Trinity, sorry i sort of put the thread off track a bit now :P my bad!

However what im doing is building up a few tidy ranked sites and improving them but with just adsense ok. Do you think it really matters if i was to go with Wp or basic XHTML/CSS ?

Did you end up getting the sites we talked about?
  • i did Brent ;) took ze plunge!
  • Awesome! I hope they work out great for you. I have a good feeling about the first one you showed me!
  • I'll keep you updated though. Im just debating whether to go for something like www.frontdoordesigns.net or to go for wordpress cms. Im literally gunna do what that guy has done there, 4-5 articles on a 1 page with well placed adsense.
  • IMO no need for Wordpress. It's functionality and advantages don't really add value in this situation.

Good stuff taking action so quickly. That's your first site in less than 24 hours? Nice work :)
  • Thomas, 2 to be exact :P I'll keep you all in the know, im only going to spend max a month on the 2 to see how they are then.[hr]
Any of you know what this is for?

That is the verification code for Google Webmaster account. You need to add this to verify when you create the Google Webmaster account.

    FYI about google webmaster http://www.google.com/webmasters/

  • Myo, appreciated :)[hr]
Whats the best sitemap generator by the way?
  • I only know about Wordpress so ,

I use Google XML Sitemaps - http://www.arnebrachhold.de/projects/wo ... generator/ for XML file and Dagon Design Sitemap Generator - http://www.dagondesign.com/articles/sit ... wordpress/ for visitors.

  • Little bit off topic but if you're looking for a theme for your MFA site that you intend to KEEP (rather than flip), then I strongly suggest you to look into a (free) theme called BlueSense.

It's ugly as hell (and that's the reason why you shouldn't use it for sites that you intend to flip), but I've seen it producing some absolutely amazing CTR figures. I'm talking up to 9% in some cases.
  • Court's Internet Marketing school (or something like that) has some good free one's as well for MFA sites.
  • bry yeah i saw it very very ugly, im intending to flip so im keeping basic, clean stuff at the mo.
  • If you aren't averaging 15% CTR for your adsense you are doing something wrong.
  • Hey Brent, ive gone for the bluesense for max ctr, let's see how it rolls.
