The world needs more mission statements, so I’m going to share mine (full disclosure: I borrowed this one). I was recently listening to an interview with Wordpress founder Matt Mullenweg, and he said something that really struck me. In discussing his journey while building Wordpress to the platform it is today he replied:

You should build things in a way where you enjoy the journey as much as the end goal, even if you end up in a different place (which most businesses do). But you loved every day of it, and you were proud of everything you did along the way.

It may seem trivial, but there’s actually a lot of meat in those few words. To me it means not cutting corners, being flexible to change, appreciating the wisdom learned in mistakes, being true to your ideals and beliefs, and perhaps most importantly: placing character and integrity ahead of everything else.
Whatever those words may mean to you, I want you to know what they mean to me. I am extremely proud of this product and everything I did along the way. Looking forward to having you as a customer…
Warmest Regards,
Kyle
